Top three scooters with highest retail sales in June 2024

Top 3 scooters in June: India’s two-wheeler segment has recorded a surge in sales in June 2024. This segment consists of a wide array of options for a consumer who can opt-out depending on their specific requirements. The scooter segment has been very popular and is an affordable commuting option. Overall the scooter segment has recorded a rise in sales on a Year-on-Year basis but recorded a marginal decline on a month-on-month basis. .

Let us have a quick look at the top three scooters of June 2024 that recorded maximum retail sales. 

Honda Activa

Honda Activa has been on sale in India for more than a decade. Honda Activa was an instant hit and till now it is doing great in its retail sales. With time it received major and minor updates and is offered in two engine options. In June, Activa recorded 2,33,376 units which resulted in a 78.38 per cent growth on a year-on-year basis and a marginal 7.87 per cent growth on a month-on-month basis. This has resulted in securing the first position in June. 

TVS Jupiter

TVS Jupiter has given tough competition to the Honda Activa. With similar dimensions and comfort levels, it managed to secure the second position in June 2024. Jupiter recorded retail sales of 72,100 units, which is a major gap between the Honda Activa and Jupiter. It recorded a 12.21 per cent growth on a year-on-year basis and a decline marginally by approximately 5 per cent on a month-on-month basis. 

Suzuki Access

The third place was secured by the Japanese manufacturer Suzuki with its Access in the list. It is offered in a 125cc engine and is very light to drive and is equipped with great features. In June, it recorded 52,192 units, resulting in a growth on a year-on-year basis by 32 per cent, and had a major decline on a month-on-month basis by 19.47 per cent. Suzuki Access gives tough competition to the Honda Activa and TVS Jupiter in the 125cc segment.
