In reaction to the US Court order on Thursday, Adani Group stocks fell sharply on D-Street, pulling the benchmark indices deeper into the red territory.
A US court in New York on Thursday indicted Adani Group board members. Shortly after the move by the US court, the Adani Group withdrew the ongoing proceedings of the proposed USD-denominated bond offerings. In a brief statement on the bourses, Adani Group also said that the allegations by the US Court were ‘baseless and denied’.
In reaction to the US Court order on Thursday, Adani Group stocks fell sharply on D-Street, pulling the benchmark indices deeper into the red territory. The fall was so massive that Adani Enterprises Limited fell by as much as 22 per cent, followed by Adani Green Energy Limited, which fell by 18.80 per cent.

ADANIENT: Adani Enterprises Limited is headquartered in Ahmedabad and is primarily involved in the mining and trading of coal and iron ore. The stock fell by Rs 637.65 (-22.61%).
ADANIGREEN: Adani Green Energy Limited is an Indian renewable energy company, headquartered in Ahmedabad, India. The stock fell by Rs 265.35 (-18.80%).
ADANI PORTS: Adani Ports and SEZ Limited is India's largest integrated ports and logistics company. The stock fell by Rs 174.35 (-13.53%).
ADANI POWER: Adani Power is a thermal power producer, with a capacity of 15,250 MW and operates a mega solar plant of 40 MW at Naliya, Bitta, Kutch, Gujarat. The stock fell by Rs 47.95 (-9.15%).
AMBUJACEM: Ambuja Cements Limited, formerly known as Gujarat Ambuja Cement Limited, is a major Indian cement-producing company. The stock fell by Rs 65.85 (-11.98%).
ATGL: Adani Total Gas Limited works in the industrial, commercial, domestic and Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) sector. The stock fell by Rs 69.90 (-10.40%).
AWL: Adani Wilmar Limited (AWL) is India's largest processor of palm oil. The stock fell by Rs 32.65 (-9.98%).
NDTV: Adani Group holds a majority stake in the company. The stock fell by Rs 1.10 (-0.65%).
