Nirmala Sitharaman Responds To X User Seeking Tax Relief For Middle Class

Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman has responded to a social media post on X where a user requested her to provide relief to the middle class.

Tushar Sharma, replied to a post that the minister had made citing a newspaper article including a free verse that "captures the emotions and spirit of Ramayana's Sita".

In the passage shared were instances from the Ramayana from Sita's perspective. These verses were composed by a member of the erstwhile Royal Family of Travancore.

Tushar Sharma in his reply said that he comprehends the challenges involved but also made a "heartfelt request" to the Finance Minister "to consider providing some relief for the middle class".

To this, Nirmala Sitharaman responded on X saying, "Thank you for your kind words and your understanding. I recognize and appreciate your concern." She further added that Prime Minister Narendra Modi's government is a responsive government and it listens and attends to people's voices.
