Sensex, Nifty Open Flat, Adani Stocks Gain As Adani Green Denies Bribery Allegations

Stock Market Open: The domestic Stock Market bourses opened flat on Wednesday to move in the red zone soon after in the early trade driven by selling in IndusInd, Bharti Airtel, and Tata Steel.

The BSE 30-share Sensex opened 100 pts higher at 80,121 whereas Nifty 50 was trading 12 points or 0.05 per cent up as the market moves sideways in the first hour of the trade.

Out of Nifty’s 50 stocks, 26 were trading in green led by BEL surged 2.27 per cent followed by Adani Enterprises which gained 2.14 per cent in the early trade. Adani Ports also gained as much as a per cent after the renewable arm of the group Adani Green shared an exchange filing, denying the media reports which stated that Adani directors including Gautam Adani and his nephew Sagar Adani.
