Thomas Cook Q3 Results
Thomas Cook reported Rs 2,061.01 crore in revenue for Q3 FY25, marking an 8.87% increase from Rs 1,893.13 crore in the same period last year. However, net profit slumped 39.82% to Rs 49.58 crore, down from Rs 82.39 crore in Q3 FY24.

The decline in profitability, despite higher revenue, suggests pressure from rising costs, squeezed margins, and geopolitical uncertainties, affecting the company’s earnings.

Travel Segment Performance & Profitability Challenges
Thomas Cook’s travel and related services segment grew 11% in income from operations, driven by a 29% surge in B2C Holidays. However, EBIT margins were impacted due to geopolitical tensions and currency volatility, particularly affecting international Destination Management Services (DMS).

While demand for travel remains strong, fluctuating forex rates and rising operational costs have put pressure on margins, contributing to the earnings decline.

Strong Financial Position & Future Outlook
Despite the profit decline, Thomas Cook maintains strong financial health, with cash reserves of ₹20,210 crore and a low debt-to-equity ratio of 0.12 at the end of the quarter.
