US Elections 2024: When will Donald Trump take oath?

Donald Trump is set to be sworn in as the 47th President of the United States. The inauguration day is set to November 5th 2025 at The US Capitol Hill in Washington D.C. 

Why is 5th January the chosen day?
There is a gap between the Presidential election and the inauguration day, mainly to give time for the President to prepare for their upcoming term. The date also makes sense since there is a delay in announcing the presidential winner many times.The main events on the inauguration day include the swearing-in ceremony of the incoming President, the inaugural address, the honorary departure of the outgoing president, the formal luncheon hosted by the Joint Congressional Committee on Inaugural Ceremonies (JCCIC), inaugural balls, inaugural parade, etc.
It also includes performers and speakers, like Beyonce, Lady Gaga, among others. There are other events leading up to and after the inauguration, including the Inaugural Parade and the Inaugural Balls.
