Delhi Assembly Elections 2025: Delhi Metro Timings Changed - See Latest Timetable, Routes, Schedule For Feb 5
These measures aim to ensure a smooth and efficient election process, benefiting both election staff and the general public.

Delhi Assemble election is here and Delhi Metro will start operations at 4 AM on February 5 (polling day) and February 8 (counting day) to facilitate election staff. Trains will run with a 30-minute frequency on all lines until 6 AM, after which regular services will resume.
"On the day of Assembly election in Delhi on February 5 and the vote counting day on February 8, Delhi Metro train services on all lines will start from their terminal stations at 4 am so that the staff deployed for election duty can avail the facility," the DMRC statement said.
Delhi Elections: Staff Services
The last metro services on all lines will be also extended on the intervening night of February 5 and 6, it said.
“To accommodate election officials returning late from duty, metro services will be extended on the night of February 5-6. The Red Line will operate until 12 AM, the Yellow Line until 11:30 PM and 11:45 PM, the Blue Line i.e. from Samaypur Baldi to Millennium City Centre Gurugram. Until 11:50 PM, and the Violet Line until 12 AM. Other metro lines will run until 1 AM to ensure smooth transit” it said.
Delhi Elections: Arrangements For Voters
Delhi Police has implemented special traffic and parking arrangements to help voters reach polling booths without inconvenience. Key polling centers in Dwarka, Bijwasan, Vikaspuri, Uttam Nagar, Mehrauli, Sangam Vihar, Okhla, and other areas will have designated parking facilities and improved traffic management.
