The Maharashtra elections took place on November 20, 2024. According to the Election Commission of India, the state has witnessed over 66 per cent of voters turned out.

The high-octane drama in the western state will conclude on November 23, when the Election Commission of India will announce the outcome of the Maharashtra Polls. The contest in Maharashtra is between the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)—led Mahayuti and Maha Vikas Aghadi of the Congress-Shiv Sena (UBT), NCP (SP) combine.
