PM Kisan Instalment: When To Expect Next Payment of 2000?

The PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana releases instalments three times a year, ensuring financial support to farmers every four months. The 19th instalment is expected to be distributed around February 2025. The 18th instalment was released on October 5 2024 in Wasim Maharashtra by PM Modi. While there is no official announcement by the government yet, there is a cycle of distributing funds every four months.

What Is PM Kisan Yojana?

Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana (PM-Kisan) came into effect on 1st of December 2018, with the aim of providing essential financial assistance to small and marginal farmers of India. It is a Central Sector scheme with 100 per cent funding from Government of India. Under the scheme an income support of 6,000/- per year in three equal installments will be provided to all land holding farmer families.

How Is It Executed?

State Government and UT administration will identify the farmer families which are eligible for support as per scheme guidelines. The fund will be directly transferred to the bank accounts of the beneficiaries.  The amount is transferred directly to the farmers' bank account in three installments of Rs 2000 each.
