Amrit Udyan Opens for Public: Check Timings, Tickets, How To Reach
In addition to the Amrit Udyan, Rashtrapati Bhavan and the Rashtrapati Bhavan Museum are open six days a week (Tuesday through Sunday).

Winter is still round the corner, bringing the delightful news of the government-maintained gardens is now open to the public for its annual viewing. The President of India, Smt. Droupadi Murmu, inaugurated the Amrit Udyan Winter Annuals Edition 2025 on February 1, 2025. The garden will be open to the public from February 2 to March 30, 2025.
"The Amrit Udyan will open for public viewing from February 2 to March 30, 2025," the release said.
Visiting Days & Timings
The garden will be open six days a week from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. However, it will be closed on Mondays for maintenance. The release has announced additional closures as well which are:
- February 5 (Delhi Assembly Polls)
- February 20-21 (Visitors’ Conference at Rashtrapati Bhavan)
- March 14 (Holi)
- Special Entry Days
- Certain groups will have exclusive access on specific days:
- March 26 – Divyangjan (Persons with disabilities)
- March 27 – Defence, paramilitary, and police personnel
- March 28 – Women and tribal women’s Self-Help Groups (SHGs)
- March 29 – Senior citizens
Entry & Booking Details
The garden will have free entry for all visitors. people can also book it online via the official website i.e. visit.rashtrapatibhavan.gov.in. Walk-in entry is also allowed.
The released mentioned that Entry and exit for all visitors will be from Gate No. 35 of the President’s Estate, close to where North Avenue meets Rashtrapati Bhavan. For the convenience of visitors, shuttle bus service from Central Secretariat Metro Station to Gate No. 35 will be available every 30 minutes between 9.30 am and 6.00 pm.
Facilities For Visitors
Visiotors are allowed to carry items like Mobile phones, electronic keys, purses/handbags, water bottles, and milk bottles for infants. Also there will be amenities like Drinking water, toilets, first aid/medical assistance.
QR codes will be available for detailed information on displays.
Garden Route & Display
Visitors will explore routes from Bal Vatika - Plumeria Theme Garden - Bonsai Garden - Central Lawn - Long Garden - Circular Garden.
This year, the garden features about 140 varieties of roses and over 80 other flower species other than tulips.
As part of Amrit Udyan, Rashtrapati Bhavan will also hold the Vividhta Ka Amrit Mahotsav from March 6–9, 2025. The Mahotsav this year will highlight Southern India's distinctive customs and rich cultural legacy. In addition to the Amrit Udyan, Rashtrapati Bhavan and the Rashtrapati Bhavan Museum are open six days a week (Tuesday through Sunday).
