The much-awaited TATA IPL 2025 Player Auction is currently live in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. With marquee players, intense bidding, and high stakes, this event promises to be a game-changer for the next three IPL seasons.

The biggest headline came when Lucknow Super Giants made Rishabh Pant the costliest IPL buy ever, securing him for a staggering ₹27 crore, shattering Shreyas Iyer’s record moments after Punjab Kings acquired Iyer for ₹26.75 crore. KKR made waves too, bringing back Venkatesh Iyer for ₹23.75 crore, the highest outside the marquee set.
