Realme announces India launch date for flagship GT 7 Pro

Realme has announced that the GT 7 Pro, its latest flagship smartphone, will launch in India on November 26. This announcement comes just hours after the phone was unveiled in China. The Realme GT 7 Pro features Qualcomm's new Snapdragon 8 Elite chip and boasts high-end specifications, including a display with a peak brightness of 6,000 nits, a periscope camera with 3x optical zoom, and dual IP ratings for enhanced durability.

Realme GT 7 Pro India Launch

The company will hold a launch event for the GT 7 Pro on November 26 in India. Since the phone has just been introduced in China, the specifications are already official. It is expected that the Indian version will closely match its Chinese counterpart. Noteworthy technologies in the GT 7 Pro include a silicon-carbon negative electrode battery with the industry's highest silicon content of 10 percent. Realme claims this battery comes with an exclusive longevity algorithm that provides four years of durability.

Realme GT 7 Pro Specifications

The GT 7 Pro features a 6.78-inch LTPO OLED Plus display with an adaptive refresh rate ranging from 1Hz to 120Hz, a peak brightness of 6,000 nits, a touch sampling rate of 2600Hz, and support for Dolby Vision. The smartphone is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chip, paired with up to 16GB of RAM and 1TB of internal storage. It runs on Android 15 with Realme UI 6.0. The camera system includes a 50MP main camera and a 50MP periscope camera with 3x optical zoom, along with a 16MP front camera. Additionally, the Realme GT 7 Pro has a 6500mAh battery that supports 120W fast charging technology. The device comes with IP68 and IP69 ratings, ensuring protection against water splashes and dust ingress.

Realme launched the GT 7 Pro in China at a starting price of CNY 3,699, which is approximately Rs 43,500. The Indian price of the phone is expected to be in a similar range.
