Drum LED available at ₹ 1 05 000 /– (Ex-Showroom Delhi)
Drum available at ₹ 95 000 /– (Ex-Showroom Delhi)
Design:
The Freedom NG 04 looks appealing. It has a different styling as compared to the regular models. The dual-tone shade, with a long seat to accommodate the CNG cylinder and the blacked-out engine, looks great.
Carbon dioxide emissions:
Approximately, CNG combustion produces 26.7 per cent less emissions than petrol. Additionally, CNG vehicles emit 85 per cent lower non-methane hydrocarbons (NMHCs) and 43 per cent less nitrogen oxide (NOx).
Comfort and Convience:
It was a challenge to create a CNG motorcycle as motorcycles have a compact nature compared to cars. The trellis frame accommodates the CNG cylinder and the housing very securely. It has a saddle height of 825mm and has a narrow mid-section for easy contact on the ground.
The mono-linked type suspension offers better wheel travel which results in making it suitable for various riding conditions. As the regular bike, the Bajaj Freedom NG 04 has the same place for the filling of CNG and petrol.
Engine:
To optimize the space and provide a comfortable ride, the horizontally inclined 125cc engine comes with a Link-Mono shock system. It is a 125cc engine that would produce 9.5 Ps power and 9.7 Nm of peak torque, mated to a manual transmission. It has a switchable button to convert it from petrol to CNG mode.
Fuel efficiency:
The Bajaj Freedom NG 04 comes with a two-litre petrol tank and a two-kg CNG tank. As per the spokesperson, in CNG mode, it would have a range of 102 km per kg. In regular petrol mode, it would provide a range of 60-65 km/l.
